About Shree Antu
In the warm embrace of the east, where the hills ripple like the waves of an ancient sea, lies Shree Antu, where the first rays of the sun kiss the earth. The greenery of Ilam sings its own song here, and the mist quietly spreads the stories it carries. Time doesn't flow by the ticking of a clock, but by the slow rhythm of the hills and the breath of the wind. Shree Antu stands as a silent seer, watching over the dreams of Ilam and the spirit of Eastern Nepal with its wide, green eyes, a living poem handwoven by nature itself. Shree Antu rests at an elevation of around 1,800 meters, tucked into Sandakpur Rural Municipality–4 of Ilam district. It borders India's Darjeeling to the east and lies about 650 kilometers away from Nepal's capital, Kathmandu. From this high perch, one can witness the mighty Kanchenjunga standing proud, painted golden by the first light of dawn. Endless stretches of tea gardens, organic farms rolling down the hillsides, and the soft whisper of the wind weaving through all these together make Shree Antu a breathing dream, a place where Eastern Nepal lives in its purest form.
About Ilam
Ilam is a land where the hills wear a cloak of green year-round, where tea gardens stretch beyond the horizon, and the air carries the crisp scent of earth and leaves. Tucked in the far east of Nepal, Ilam is a quiet soul, known for its rolling landscapes, vibrant cultures, and timeless connection to nature. From the shimmering sunrise over Shree Antu to the winding trails through ancient forests, Ilam stands as a gentle reminder of Nepal's softer, greener heart.
